Restorative Dentistry in Jacksonville, FL
At Lakewood Dentistry, our goal is to meet all of your preventive, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry needs. While we hope your preventive care is enough to keep your smile in tip-top shape, that’s not always the case. From simple fillings to replacing a full arch of teeth, we have a number of treatments to cater to your smile. Contact our office for all of your restorative dentistry needs!
Your overall wellness is at the forefront of our treatments. That’s why we offer composite, tooth-colored fillings as opposed to amalgam fillings that are made with mercury. Not only are composite fillings more beneficial for your health, but they blend in with your natural tooth shade as well.

Whether your tooth’s structure has been compromised or you’re looking to improve it’s appearance, dental crowns can help. Crowns are tooth-shaped casings designed to completely cover your natural tooth. They may also be used in conjunction with a dental implant as a method for tooth replacement.
Dental bridges are used to close the gap left behind by one or more missing teeth. A bridge consists of two or more dental crowns with false teeth in between. Your crowns will be permanently attached to the teeth or implants surrounding the empty space and the false teeth will bridge the gap.
Full & Partial Dentures
We offer both full and partial dentures to accommodate a variety of tooth replacement needs. Both prostheses consist of a gum-like acrylic base with false teeth attached. Partial dentures use metal clips to attach to your natural teeth remaining in the gum line, while full dentures are held in place by dental adhesives.
Dental implants are small, titanium posts that are surgically placed into your jawbone. These screw-like structures fuse with your bone to serve as replacement tooth roots. Implants can serve as the foundation for a dental crown or bridge and even secure a full arch of upper or lower dentures.
Root Canal Therapy
Root canal therapy is a restorative treatment used to help save your natural tooth from extraction. We’ll remove the infected pulp and thoroughly clean the canal, then seal it off to prevent future infection. If your tooth needs additional support, a dental crown may be placed over your natural tooth.
Wisdom Tooth Removal
Overcrowding, painful eruption, and impaction are a few of the most common reasons why wisdom teeth are removed. If your wisdom teeth are causing you grief, we can complete your procedure entirely in house. From planning out your procedure with you to scheduling your follow-up appointment after removal, we’re with you every step of the way.
